Specifications

See the default structure and usable space.

Blade length, width and thickness set the closed-bottom sheaths, and handle width and grip spacing set the spacing between knives. Lift out along the axis of the angled knife slot; nominal envelope checks do not replace real fit and stability.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Blade size is measured as the maximum envelope of a straight blade; each slot side has another 0.6 mm, and the nominal tip sits 1 mm above the slot bottom.
  2. The handle shoulder must be wider than the slot and rest on both sides of the slot mouth; pull out along the angle of the knife slot; do not pull straight up by force.
  3. Support ribs on both sides of each knife sheath join a shared base; the closed bottom does not drain. Dry knives before storing; curved blades and irregular guards need a separate fit.
  4. Print base down; check supports for the sloped walls when slicing. Before use, check real stability, blade wear or food contact; no child protection is provided.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
