Terms of Service

These terms set out the rights and responsibilities between you and boxesmodel regarding the website, 3D model files and parametric customization services. Please read before registering, downloading or purchasing; if you do not agree, do not register, download or purchase. For how personal information is handled, see the Privacy Policy.

1. Service provider and scope

boxesmodel is a 3D-printable box model platform operated by an individual business operator based in China. The official website is boxesmodel.com and the support email is support@boxesmodel.com. We provide digital model files, online size and structure adjustment and file export. We do not sell or ship printed items and do not offer printing services.

Default-size models are free to download after sign-in; parameter adjustment and preview are free. Custom exports are provided with a single model purchase or an active subscription; the specific model, adjustable parameters and deliverables are as shown on the model page and at purchase. Custom files check your purchase or subscription when you export, and delivered results can be downloaded again from your account.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Downloading and opening the studio require signing in with a Google account you are entitled to use. Your first sign-in creates an account on this site; keep your contact details accurate, protect your account, and do not transfer, rent or share your account or purchased entitlements. If you notice unauthorized access, contact support promptly.

You must be legally able to accept these terms and buy digital services. Use by minors should be decided and supervised by a guardian under applicable law; you may not purchase on your own if you do not meet these requirements. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized by it.

3. Model license and intellectual property

Intellectual property in the model files and related designs belongs to boxesmodel or the respective rights holders. Once you lawfully obtain model files, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license: you may keep the files, adjust size and structure as needed, and make prints for personal use or to sell physical items you print yourself. This scope applies to free default files and lawfully obtained paid custom files.

You may not sell, sublicense, share or publicly distribute the original or modified digital model files, upload them to other model platforms or public file libraries, or offer them as digital asset packs. A purchase does not transfer model copyright or license the boxesmodel brand, website code or other owners' trademarks.

When selling printed items, you are responsible for their quality, safety, compliance and buyer information, and may not claim certification by boxesmodel or any other brand. A normal subscription expiry does not affect the license above for files lawfully obtained earlier; refunds, infringement and material license breaches are handled under these terms.

4. Prices, payment and subscriptions

Default models are free to download. A single model unlock is US$3.90; monthly subscription US$9.90, quarterly subscription (every 3 months)US$24.90, yearly subscription US$79.90, all in US dollars including tax. The model, amount and period are shown before purchase, and payment starts only after you confirm; banks or payment institutions may charge currency conversion fees under their own rules.

A single purchase unlocks one model for your current account, not one set of parameters or one download: you can adjust the model's size and structure without limit and export all STL and STEP parts for every configuration. Adjusting and exporting later versions of the same model requires no new purchase; other models require a separate purchase or a subscription. A subscription allows unlimited models and custom exports during the paid period.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the chosen period. You can open the Creem customer portal from "Subscription & billing" in your account to manage payment methods or cancel renewal; cancel before the next renewal. After cancelling you can use it until the paid period ends; new custom exports stop at expiry, and delivered results can still be downloaded again. Cancelling renewal does not trigger an automatic refund; refunds follow the policy below.

Creem acts as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller and handles purchases, taxes, payment receipts and refunds; boxesmodel is responsible for delivering the models and digital services and for technical support. Transactions are also subject to the Creem Buyer Terms; those terms prevail for transaction-related conflicts; statutory consumer rights are not affected. Payment records and invoices are available in your account and the Creem customer portal.

5. Digital file delivery and re-downloads

Files are delivered online through the website; nothing is shipped. Default model downloads ask for confirmation first; custom files become downloadable after payment is verified or a valid entitlement is confirmed. The model package contains STL, STEP, a size list and notes; the parts shown on each model page apply. Delivered custom results can be downloaded again from "Model files" in your account; a normal subscription expiry does not affect these results.

Payment notifications may take time to process; check the original order status first to avoid buying twice. If you paid but did not receive the entitlement, lost files or a download failed, contact support with your order number; we will verify and restore delivery or handle it under the refund policy. Please back up downloaded files yourself; one assembly should use the complete parts from the same version and the same set of sizes.

6. Refunds and consumer rights

Within 14 days of a single model purchase, you may request a refund if you have not downloaded any custom file under that purchase; free downloads of default models do not affect this condition. Within 14 days of your first subscription purchase, you may request a refund if you have not used custom exports. After downloading or using, a simple change of mind does not qualify for the refunds above.

For duplicate charges, non-delivery or files unavailable because of platform problems, we will verify and fix or refund. please contact support@boxesmodel.com, providing your payment email, order number and a description of the issue; do not send full card details or passwords. We check export and file transfer records; a completed server transfer does not mean the file was saved or printed on your device, so please mention any download problems.

Refunds are processed by Creem; timing depends on the payment method and financial institution. The download and export entitlements covered by the refund are withdrawn; after a refund you must stop using files obtained through that purchase; other independent valid entitlements are not affected.

The refund conditions above do not limit the consumer rights granted by applicable law, including lawful remedies such as repair or refund for digital content that does not conform or cannot be delivered. Consent regarding early delivery of digital content and the right of withdrawal follows the explicit notice at checkout and applicable rules; not every download automatically ends a statutory right of withdrawal. 7. Model specifications and printing responsibility

Model sizes are in millimeters; lengths, widths and heights in the part list are outer bounds; see this model's specifications for usable interior space. Preview colors, camera angles and the exploded view are for viewing only and do not change export sizes. You need software that can open ZIP, STL or STEP files, plus suitable slicing software and printing equipment.

Printers, filament, slicer settings and assembly affect the actual result. Before printing, check your build volume, orientation, supports and hardware needs; test-print key mating parts first and test supporting or stacking structures empty first. Without appropriate testing and certification, models and prints should not be considered suitable for food contact, medical, protective or other safety-critical uses. Specific uses and limits are as stated in each model's description. These notes do not relieve us of our obligations for the model matching its description, digital delivery and statutory quality.

8. Fair use and infringement

You may not use the service for illegal activity, infringe the rights of others, bypass payment or access controls, maliciously interfere with the service, or abuse resources through automation. "Unlimited" does not permit sharing accounts, reselling digital models in bulk or disrupting the service. Mentions of compatible items in model names do not imply authorization or endorsement by the related brands.

If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, send the page, the basis of your rights and your contact details to the support email. We will verify and take necessary measures, and let affected parties explain.

9. Service changes, suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion under the Privacy Policy; cancel subscriptions you no longer need and back up your files first. We may restrict access because of security risks, illegal activity or material breach; except in emergencies or where notice is legally prohibited, we will explain the reason and offer a chance to contact us, appeal or correct the issue.

Maintenance, failures or third-party outages may cause temporary unavailability; we will reasonably handle failures and help restore service. If we permanently stop a paid service or cannot continue to honor purchased entitlements for reasons on our side, we will notify you in advance and offer an applicable refund or other lawful remedy for the unfulfilled part; purchased entitlements are not removed by unilateral changes to these terms.

10. Liability and dispute resolution

Both parties shall perform their obligations under applicable law and these terms. We do not guarantee that every parameter combination suits your printer or a specific purpose, but we will resolve file and delivery problems caused by the platform. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, including statutory consumer protection and liability for intent or gross negligence.

In case of a dispute, please first describe the problem to support so we can verify and handle it; this does not prevent you from complaining to relevant authorities or asserting rights before a competent court as permitted by law. The governing law is determined by the relevant conflict-of-law rules; consumer protections in your location that cannot be excluded by contract still apply.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms because of service or legal changes and will state the effective date here. Material changes to prices, licenses or purchased entitlements will be announced in advance on the website or by account email; new prices or licenses do not retroactively reduce rights already obtained. Future renewal price changes will be announced before renewal, and you may cancel renewal.
