04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Rows and columns are set separately for the upper and lower levels; four equal links keep the upper level horizontal, and it fully clears the base compartment when swung to the left.
  2. Also needs 8 sets of M3 bolts, nuts and washers; axle hole 3.4 mm. The clamping thickness is wall thickness + 6.5 mm; add the actual washer and nut thickness to choose the bolt length.
  3. First fit the outer four-bar linkage in the empty box, matching the front and rear hole axles; leave the nut room to turn and secure it against loosening. Room for handling the nuts is left beside the holes.
  4. Hold the base with one hand, move the upper level to the stop, then place the separate support under the upper level; support the upper level and remove the stand before closing.
  5. The closed display places the separate stand beside the box, and the envelope includes the stand; the open/closed state only changes part placement, not part structure.
  6. Box bottom and stand bottom down; print the links with their large flat face on the plate, and flip the lid so its top is on the plate. Before use, check real friction, hardware loosening, full-load stability or load-bearing; do not carry the whole box by the upper level.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
