04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Eggs go upright into separate curved egg pockets, with a flat support surface kept at each pocket bottom. Measure maximum diameter and total height; the ellipsoid only approximates an egg, and fit is not guaranteed by S/M/L size.
  2. All level files are the same size, and the bottom holes drop onto the four corner pins of the level below; no glue needed. 0.4 mm single-side design gap; test-print to check the real fit first.
  3. Lift the upper level off from the top first, then take eggs from the lower level; side pulling is not supported when something is above. Nominal 6 mm from the egg tops to the floor of the level above.
  4. Wide flat base down; check supports and print stability for the curved pockets and tall corner posts in the slicer. Dimensions show the whole set's outline; each level is laid out separately.
  5. Before use, check how real eggs spread out, load-bearing, tipping, impact breakage, cleaning and the food contact suitability of the material.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
