Empty Hanger Double-Shoulder Stand model preview, default size 374 × 79.5 × 38 mm, 3 parts
3 partsSTL + STEPMillimetersVersion 1.0.0

The dovetails only hold the sections together on a flat surface and have no vertical lock; do not carry the whole stand by one section with the rest hanging, and empty it and separate the parts before moving it.

Measure the total height of the whole set lying flat and leave room to take hangers in and out; do not estimate real capacity by dividing the clear height by the thickness of one hanger.

01 / SPECIFICATIONS

Specifications

See the default structure and usable space.

In a wardrobe shelf or on a laundry counter, lay unused straight-shoulder triangular hangers flat and keep them together; the hook necks clear through the front opening, and you take them out one by one from the top. The default configuration is only a design example; check it against your own measured items and space; slicing, physical fit and strength have not been verified.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Printed parts: 1 each of the left shoulder, middle hook-neck and right shoulder sections, with the connecting dovetails printed as part of each section; no purchased parts needed. Place the three sections flat side down on one level surface and lower them into place from the right section to the left; to take apart, lift them off in reverse. Hangers lie flat in a stack and are taken out one by one from the top.
  2. The default size is a design example not tied to a real hanger model. The ideal straight-shoulder outline entered now has a maximum shoulder width of 360 mm and a shoulder angle of 20 degrees from horizontal; outline design clearance of 4 mm per side; this is not the hanger thickness or a verified manufacturing tolerance.
  3. The vertical stacking clearance from the inner floor to the top of the wall is 35 mm, not the front-to-back depth; no promise on how many hangers it holds. Measure the total height of the whole set lying flat and leave room to take hangers in and out; do not estimate real capacity by dividing the clear height by the thickness of one hanger.
  4. Before printing, check the complete real hangers: measure the outermost shoulder width, shoulder angle, crossbar and shoulder-end outline, the side-to-side envelope of every hook, and the stacked height of the whole set. The 65 mm hook channel clear width must also exceed the real passing envelope with extra margin; hooks may stick out of the opening; leave extra room on the counter or in the cabinet for the real hooks, the lifting stroke and your hand. Hangers with curved or wide shoulders, trouser clips or swivel hooks are outside the measured ideal envelope.
  5. Not a load-bearing hanging rack and not for hanging clothes; hangers are not included. The full stand is wide, so place the three parts on the build plate separately; check the build plate against each part's actual envelope. The dovetails only hold the sections together on a flat surface and have no vertical lock; do not carry the whole stand by one section with the rest hanging, and empty it and separate the parts before moving it.
  6. Software checks only cover an assumed ideal triangular hanger and a hook probe; the number of thin frame layers is not evidence of real capacity. Try one hanger first, then check the whole stack as measured for taking in and out, hooking together, tipping, friction and surface contact; check slicing, physical fit and strength before use.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
