Single Lid-Off Position Pinned Compartment Box model preview, default size 160 × 160 × 44 mm, 7 parts
7 partsSTL + STEPMillimetersVersion 1.0.0

The collar's narrowest clear passage is 13.60 mm; first measure that the largest cross-section of a single item is ≤ 8.00 mm and its height ≤ 24.00 mm, and the pick-up tool must also fit through; not for large, powdery or sticky items.

Unevenly spaced perimeter retaining posts, a headed manual index pin and a removable feed collar form a manual sorting storage structure. The three retaining heads can only pass the entrance together at the same service position; choose where to take items by hand through a single-compartment round opening. Suits small desk task items, daily spare parts and sorted supplies; no medical safety, dosing accuracy, child resistance, food contact, transport retention or sealing is provided. Use parts from the same set; standard purchased M3 parts cannot be scaled with the whole package.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Supply 3 M3×35 mm socket head cap screws and 3 DIN 934 M3 hex nuts; coarse thread 0.5 mm, head diameter ≤ 5.5 / height ≤ 3 mm, effective thread at the end ≥ 3 mm, nut AF ≤ 5.5 / 2.4 mm thick. No washers, glue or springs needed. 2.5 mm hex key, supplied separately; do not use shoulder screws or tall lock nuts.
  2. Complete print list, 7 parts: 1 body, 1 rotating lid, 1 collar, 1 locating pin and 3 retaining posts. The central Ø6 guide axle and support ring are part of the box body; the 11.2 mm locating pin shank and 3.6 mm retaining post shoulder height follow the current size. Metal parts and tools are not in the STL/STEP files.
  3. At the current size, the screw head seats at 36.40 mm under the head and the tail sits 1.40 mm inside the bottom face; the nut's top rests against a 4.40 mm blind shoulder and its bottom at 2.00 mm, with the screw passing 0.6 mm below the nut. Standard shank lengths are not scaled; buy from the current list; use at least 3 mm of effective thread at the end; real fit and fastening strength still need a real assembly.
  4. Installation ① With the empty box lying flat, push the 3 nuts flat from the outer radial slot of each post to the hex end position, supported below; it can slide out along the slot before tightening; no automatic retention. Place the retaining posts over the 3 perimeter holes, narrow shoulder down; insert the screws from top to bottom with the hex tool going straight in, and tighten lightly until the shoulder posts touch the box; as it tightens, the nut moves up 0.2 mm against the upper shoulder. Do not squeeze the rotating lid.
  5. Installation ② Align the rotating lid's three unevenly spaced notches with the retaining heads at 0/180/270° at the same time, with the service mark facing the matching mark on the box; lower it along the central guide axle onto the central support ring, then insert the index pin. The wide shoulder of the fitted collar rests on the lid, with its 2 mm pins entering the round opening. Under the service position is a shallow blind slot, not a storage compartment.
  6. Day to day, lift the collar first, then pull the pin at least 13.2 mm; grip the rotating lid's outer edge and turn it 45.00° by hand to the next index hole, then reinsert the pin. Take items out with tweezers through the round opening, or fit the collar to refill compartment by compartment. Items can only go in or come out through the opening once a compartment is selected; while the lid moves, the window may span compartments; keep it level, do not tip it or fill it to the top.
  7. To clean the whole lid: remove the collar and pin, return to the only service position, and lift straight up once all three notches align; at every other index position at least one retaining head blocks lifting. The service position has a nominal notch allowance and is not exactly zero degrees; do not pry the lid at an angle; the locating pins have no elastic latch; test-print first to check tightness and pull-out resistance. Before removing the retaining posts, empty the box, then remove the 3 screws so the nuts are not lost.
  8. 7 item compartments plus 1 solid service position; effective compartment height 26.00 mm. The collar's narrowest clear passage is 13.60 mm; first measure that the largest cross-section of a single item is ≤ 8.00 mm and its height ≤ 24.00 mm, and the pick-up tool must also fit through; not for large, powdery or sticky items. Inner dot patterns of 1–7 identify each compartment, so they can still be told apart with the lid off. Not an exact count / automatic feeder or sealed transport box.
  9. Outer outline Ø160 mm; the total height of 44 mm includes the collar in the service position; with the collar removed the maximum recommended screw head is 39.40 mm. Leave at least 13.2 mm above to pull the pin and remove the collar; removing the whole lid needs more headroom; check your actual space first.
  10. Print the body base down; check the orientation of the lid face, collar tube axis, pin and shoulder retaining posts yourself when slicing; the lid holes and post head overhangs may need supports. Test-print the nominal clearances first, check slicing before printing, and check real fit, load, life and dispensing before use; no medical safety, child resistance, food contact, vibration resistance or sealing is promised.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
