Spool Core Breathable Tube model preview, default size 49 × 49 × 62 mm, 2 parts
2 partsSTL + STEPMillimetersVersion 1.0.0

Take the desiccant out and regenerate it per its instructions; do not heat the printed tube.

A solid floor holds the material; dust filtering or a specific moisture absorption rate cannot be promised.

Set the outer size by the narrowest core hole and usable axle length; fill after removing the screw lid; granules only up to the bottom of the thread neck. The vented tube itself is not sealed and cannot replace a sealed outer case or claim moisture absorption efficiency.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Overall tube outer diameter 49 mm, closed total height 62 mm. The narrowest spool core hole should be at least 1 mm larger than the outer diameter; measure the core hole ribs and usable axial length; universal brand fit is not claimed.
  2. The vent slits are 1.2 mm wide; use whole granules larger than 1.8 mm at their smallest, and sieve out broken granules and powder first. A solid floor holds the material; dust filtering or a specific moisture absorption rate cannot be promised.
  3. Fill standing upright; keep granules below the bottom of the thread neck; stop tightening once the lid seats on the shoulder. Seen from above, unscrew counterclockwise; it rises one pitch per turn, and lift off the lid once fully free. No hardware.
  4. This model is only for storing material in the spool core hole, with no inner dividers or hygrometer hole that could block the fill opening or leak;
  5. Slice with the tube bottom down and the lid top on the build plate; the 0.35 mm nominal thread clearance should be checked with a test print first. Take the desiccant out and regenerate it per its instructions; do not heat the printed tube.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
