01 / SPECIFICATIONS

Specifications

See the default structure and usable space.

The central horizontal axle lets each compartment dispense independently, with a through M4 rod joining the flaps and upper frame; the full-level mark reserves space under the swing lid.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Supply an M4 through rod about 176 mm long, two washers and two nuts; hardware is not included in the print files or print envelope.
  2. Put each swing lid into the upper frame, align the axle holes, pass the axle rod in from the side and fix both ends with washers and nuts; keep 0.5–1 mm of axial play; do not clamp the swing lid. Then fit the upper frame over the box opening; lift the whole set to empty it.
  3. The horizontal line on the inner front wall marks full; keep material below it so it does not block the lower edge of the swing lid; for dry scraps on a desk; not a liquid, airtight or odor-proof container.
  4. The axle center sits above the lid flap's uniform-material center of gravity; return also depends on infill density and friction; test-print to check actual fill density, axle hole friction and return smoothness first.
  5. Box base down; choose orientation and supports in the slicer for the upper frame axle holes and the swing lid cross axle; test-print the hole sizes and fit first; support-free printing is not claimed.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
