04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Front-opening shutter cabinet: first link the slats with pins, put the chain into the left rail, close the right rail plate, and finally fix the 4 bottom hardware sets.
  2. Supply 7 pins of 1.75 mm filament, each 145 mm, flush with both ends of the guide axle; pin holes 2.2 mm; once the side plates are fitted they stop the pins sliding sideways.
  3. Supply 4 sets of M3×16 screws and M3 hex nuts (5.5 mm across flats, about 2.4 mm thick); put the nut in through the right window, lay the empty cabinet on its side and fix it with a screw from the bottom.
  4. Lift the front handle and the shutter slats turn into the top return path; take items from the front once fully open. To close, pull it back along the rails; do not fold or force it; remove the bottom screws before removing the right plate.
  5. Columns and upper/lower levels are fixed divisions; dividers are only in the storage zone; nothing can go in the top return zone. Choose items by the actual cell openings; do not treat the outer envelope as usable size.
  6. There are gaps between the slats, with no seal, closing lock or open lock; test-print to check hinge pins, track friction, nut retention and load first.
  7. Exported in the display pose; when slicing, turn the large face of the shutter slats and the outer face of the right plate toward the bed. Check supports for the cabinet top/shelves and hinge hole overhangs.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
