Rotating Drum Portion Dispenser Box model preview, default size 90 × 67.6 × 151.2 mm, 5 parts
5 partsSTL + STEPMillimetersVersion 1.1.0

If it jams while turning, stop and empty it; do not force it.

Hardware shown: metal parts supplied separately; preview and manufacturing package contain only the 5 printed parts

Lift the lid to refill; the drum carries one cavity of granules out, and the tray pulls out to take them. Cavity opening and depth adjust independently, with channel and drop clearance following granule size. Supply 4 M3 socket head cap screws and 4 standard hex nuts yourself; the 40/50/60 mm length is generated from the parameters; the integrated boss on the end plate matches the chosen length, and the page and download include a shopping list and steps. The preview only shows the 5 printed parts; actual jamming, friction and dispensing amount still need trying out.

04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. The knob's raised side shows the pick-up cavity: facing up it collects, a half turn down it dispenses; the catch tray pulls out horizontally from the knob side.
  2. Only for dry craft granules of similar measured size; do not add powders, sharp or sticky items. If it jams while turning, stop and empty it; do not force it.
  3. Purchased hardware: 4 × M3×40 mm socket head cap screws (DIN 912/ISO 4762, coarse 0.5 mm, length measured under the head, at least 8 mm of thread at the end) and 4 × M3 hex nuts (DIN 934, 5.5 mm across flats, 2.4 mm thick); the tool is a 2.5 mm hex key.
  4. The preview and STL/STEP contain only the 5 printed parts; metal screws, nuts and tools must be supplied separately. Choose by the current model size; do not use countersunk, captive shoulder screws or tall lock nuts; no extra washers needed.
  5. Installation ① Empty the storage compartment, put the drum in from the knob side, then pass the end plate's center hole over the knob with the four corner holes aligned; bosses face outward, with the ring on the inside of the end plate facing the shell.
  6. Installation ② Press the four nuts into the hex slots from the back of the shell until they reach the inner end steps; you can lay it back side up and drop the nuts in one by one, steadying them by hand; the nuts do not lock up before the screws are tightened.
  7. Installation ③ Insert the screws from outside the four bosses and tighten diagonally and evenly with a hex key until the end plate sits flush. Load path: screw head → integrated boss/end plate → shell → hex nut; do not drive screws into plastic threads.
  8. Installation ④ Check that the nuts sit against the shoulders and the screw heads against the bosses, with the nominal tail 1 mm inside the back and 1 mm past the nut; still check with real parts that it is fully engaged and does not protrude. Once a half turn runs smoothly empty, fit the catch tray, add material and close the top lid; do not overtighten and crush the plastic.
  9. The end plate must be removed to take out the drum; empty the storage compartment before assembling or disassembling. The 0.4 mm radial/axial clearance is a design starting point; test-print to check the actual fit first.
  10. Rotation transfers material from a single cavity; check actual dispensing amount, piling and bridging, shear jamming, friction and full-compartment stability before use; exact counts are not promised.
  11. Keep the shell base down; check supports for the inner tube top and the funnel; slice the knob/end plate lying flat along the axis. No food contact or sealing is claimed.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
