Enter your wall size and printer bed. Get a full pegboard split into printable tiles, with hooks, shelves and mounting parts.
Wall area
Measure the width and height of the wall you want to cover. The board is rounded down to whole hole pitches, so it is slightly smaller than the area; the dashed frame in 3D is the area you entered.
Keep the area clear of switches and sockets; this version supports one rectangle.
Default layouts download free. After changing the wall, hole type, accessories or their positions, an export is $1.90 once or included in a subscription. Changing only the bed stays free.
Bed size
Enter your printer’s bed size and maximum print height, or pick a common printer below.
Tiles are sized to the printable area (bed minus the margins) and may be turned 90°. Seams fall halfway between holes, so the spacing stays even across the whole board.
Tile size
By default tiles are as large as your bed allows. Choose Custom for smaller tiles: they print more easily and warp less, but need more seams and butterfly keys.
Hole type
Round · 1-inch standard: 25.4 mm pitch, Ø7 mm holes, for store-bought 1/4-inch pegboard hooks. Brands vary slightly, so print one tile to test first.
Slots · SKÅDIS compatible: vertical 5.2×15.2 mm slots, 40 mm apart in a row and staggered 20 mm, 5 mm board, for original SKÅDIS hooks and accessories. Not affiliated with IKEA.
Hole reinforcement: a solid 2 mm ring around each hole (set 5+ perimeters in your slicer) and a 0.5 mm chamfer on both faces reduce cracking at the hole edge without making the board thicker.
Hooks and accessories
Accessories are made for the current holes, board and back clearance: each has an upper tab and a lower pin so it cannot turn, and a lip behind the board so it cannot pull out. Every tab sits in a hole.
New accessories go to free spots. Drag one in 3D and it snaps hole by hole: green fits, red does not. You can also select one and click a hole or use the arrow keys.
Each accessory is checked against its design load. If a check fails you cannot download; turn on hole reinforcement, use PETG, choose a smaller size or remove it.
Mounting and assembly
Joining: every tile has butterfly-key pockets on the back of its edges. Lay the tiles face down, then press the keys in from the back.
Mounting: back feet with countersunk screws by default; screws sit between holes, never in one. Drill using the 1:1 drilling map from this page. Adhesive strips suit small boards and light items only.
Back clearance: hook lips go through the hole and down behind the board, so they need space; 13 mm by default. Design loads are calculated, not tested; hang heavy items only on a board screwed into the wall or studs.
Reading the print plan
Tiles are close to bed size, one per plate; keys, trim and accessories share plates. Filament is estimated for PLA; your slicer gives the real figure.
Print tiles face down at 0.2 mm layers; print hooks and brackets on their side so the layers follow the load. Print one tile and test a hook before printing the rest.
