04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. All custom parts are included in the print files; no hardware is required.
  2. Preview colors are illustrative; STL and STEP do not include filament assignments.
  3. Print box bodies with the base down. Lids have features on both sides and require support planning in the slicer; support-free printing is not claimed.
  4. Only completed digital checks may be reported as passed; slicing, physical fit and load capacity remain untested.
  5. Remove the lid, then lift the tray using its side finger notches. The lid handle is for opening only, not for carrying the mailbox.
  6. For indoor storage only, not a weatherproof or lockable postal box. Card width must be less than the slot clear width.
  7. The wide mail-slot header requires removable support. Also check bridging or support for the handle crossbar.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
