04 / PRINT & ASSEMBLY

Printing and assembly

Check slicing and fit after downloading.

  1. Two printed parts: a compartment body and a lid with all wing veins, ears, eye and belly details. No purchased hardware.
  2. Lower the lid vertically. The locating skirt and cavity walls are generated from the current wall thickness and per-side clearance; this is not a latch or a sealed closure.
  3. Print the body with its base down. Orient and support the lid according to slicer results; inspect the toolpaths at wing tips and fine relief details.
  4. For hair clips, paper clips, earrings and other small items. Pointed outer areas are not fully usable storage space; check the narrowest opening before inserting items.
  5. The complete shape scales by total wingspan and retains the original black, purple and orange palette. STL files contain no colors. Slicing, physical assembly and children's toy safety have not been validated.

Import into your slicer in millimeters and check build volume, orientation and supports for each part. Test-print lids, drawers and connectors first, and print the full set once the fit is confirmed.
